For those of you who have signed up for World Breastfeeding Day or are planning to do so, please read the important information below, for smooth organisation.
To ensure visitor security, la Cité des Sciences applies preventive measures (Plan Vigipirate) decided by the government for public administrations.
You’ll find all you need to know for your visit on 8 November 2019 at this link: http://www.cite-sciences.fr/fr/infos-pratiques/ . Please read and comply with these rules for everybody’s comfort and security.
La Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie opens at 7.30 am so you can get through the security checks (which may take between 30 to 60 minutes), and get to the Centre des Congrès on floor -1.
The speaker presentations start at 8.45 am. We strongly recommend arriving early, to get your headphones for the translations, and a good seat in the amphitheatre. Early birds can enjoy a morning snack!
As from 6.00 pm, we will be issuing attendance certificates and CERPs to those who need them.
The JIA2019 may grant the following CERPs: 4.5 L and 1.5 E with the registration number 319068K.
Late arrival and early departure will compromise the attribution of CERPs.
Babies of up to 6 months are welcome at the 2019 WBD. Seats will be reserved at the top of the amphitheatre, for you to meet your baby’s needs in the best conditions.
Accompanying persons are not authorised within the Centre des Congrès, but they may go into the Cité des Sciences hall, to meet you there if necessary (remember to keep documents on you to prove that you signed up, as well as your ID).
NB: there is no mobile phone signal within the Centre des Congrès.
